5.2/10

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center for a conference. The hotel's common areas were beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. However, the room itself left much to be desired, with worn furnishings and a carpet that was loose and stained. Overall, while there were definitely bright spots, it's clear that the hotel needs a significant refresh to truly shine.

Rooms
5.0
The suite I stayed in was spacious but had serious issues. The carpet was loose and stained, and the furniture, especially the chairs and sofa, looked old and uninviting. Even the bathroom fixtures like the shower were uncomfortably designed. It's clear the rooms are in dire need of an upgrade.
Service
8.0
The staff throughout my stay were very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. They were always smiling and eager to help, which really added to the experience despite the room issues.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located near plenty of shopping and dining options. There’s a lot to explore in the area, which I appreciated during my stay.
Dining
6.0
I had a great experience dining at the hotel bar, especially enjoying the Cuban sandwiches. However, I was disappointed when the bar closed earlier than expected on Saturday night, which left me without dinner options after returning late.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel's common areas, including the fitness center and conference facilities, were impressive and well-kept. The fitness center offered a good range of equipment, making it easy for me to maintain my routine.

I had a wonderful experience overall at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to accommodate my needs, especially when I required an accessible room. The location is fantastic, with many dining and shopping options nearby, contributing to the enjoyable stay. However, some areas of the hotel showed signs of age, with peeling wallpaper and minor maintenance issues. Still, my comfortable room and the really good hospitality made my visit nice. 😊

6.4/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location was great, with many restaurants and shopping nearby, which made it convenient. However, I did encounter cleanliness issues in the first room I was assigned. Overall, I appreciated the attentive staff and comfortable amenities, though certain aspects could use improvement.

Rooms
5.0
My first room had significant cleanliness issues, including dried blood on the toilet and peeling wallpaper, necessitating a switch to another room. The second room, while cleaner, still lacked attention to detail. However, the beds were comfortable, providing a decent night's sleep.
Service
7.0
The staff was generally responsive and friendly, which helped to ease some frustrations during my stay. However, there was a notable incident with the front desk on Saturday morning that lasted too long, impacting my overall impression of service.
Location
8.0
The hotel is located in a busy area of Tulsa, filled with restaurants and shops. This made it easy to find dining options nearby. However, the noise from the rooftop AC units could be disruptive during the night.
Dining
5.0
While the buffet breakfast had some potential, my experience with the food quality was disappointing. The restaurant service did not meet my expectations, leading to a less enjoyable dining experience overall.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's facilities were decent, with the gym well-maintained and the pool area nice. However, the cleanliness of my initial room raised concerns about the overall upkeep.

6.6/10

My stay was a mixed bag. The lobby and grounds were beautiful, featuring a lovely koi pond, but my room showed some wear and tear. I faced issues like the need to request a microwave, and Wi-Fi charges seemed a bit high at $7.99 a day. However, the friendly staff made a positive impact, especially with their attentiveness throughout my visit.

Rooms
7.0
While my room was comfortable and had a nice view of the Tulsa skyline, it did show some signs of wear and tear, which was a bit disappointing. I was glad to have a clean and spacious room, but the need to request a microwave and deal with the dirty one in the lobby didn’t reflect a high standard.
Service
8.0
The staff were super friendly and really attentive during my stay. They went out of their way to make sure I felt welcomed, which I really appreciated. However, there were some hiccups in communication regarding room amenities and additional charges.
Location
9.0
The location was really convenient, surrounded by restaurants and a Super Target. I loved that it was central to everything I needed while in busy Tulsa, making food and shopping easily accessible.
Dining
6.0
Dining at the hotel was a mixed experience; I found the prices a bit steep. The breakfast options were definitely tasty but felt overpriced, which didn't sit right with me. I enjoyed exploring nearby restaurants instead.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had a great fitness center that I loved using; the equipment was great and overlooked the pool area. However, I wish the Wi-Fi didn’t come with an extra daily fee. The ballroom spaces were nice for events, even if the acoustics weren’t perfect.

I had a nice weekend stay despite a few hiccups. The hotel staff was absolutely wonderful and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my time there. However, I did encounter some issues, such as an unexpected charge for Wi-Fi and the bar closing earlier than advertised. Overall, I appreciated the spacious room and pleasant atmosphere but was let down by the early bar closure and lack of clear communication about fees.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with nice blackout curtains that helped me sleep in. I particularly enjoyed the large flat-screen TV and easy Wi-Fi access, which worked well during my stay.
Service

The staff was amazing! They were always smiling and ready to assist, making for a warm atmosphere during my stay. However, my experience with the front desk was a bit mixed; they weren't always as friendly as I had hoped.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It made it easy to explore the area during my free time.
Dining
8.0
Dining at the hotel was a highlight for me, especially the Cuban sandwich I had at the bar. The food was hot and delicious, but I was disappointed that the bar closed early on Saturday night.
Facilities

I enjoyed the full-sized indoor pool, but I was disappointed to find out there was no hot tub as some pictures suggested. Additionally, the airport shuttle service only runs during limited hours.
